The 5 airport beauty essentials (Travelling in style)

Hello loves, how many of you are leaving for summer holidays? And how many of you are travelling by plane? We all know that we can’t carry with us our whole beauty stash, which sucks I know. However, there are 5 airport beauty essentials we must fit in our handbag. Because we can travel smartly and beautifully, and step down that airplane ladder feeling like a superstar!

The 5 airport beauty essentials (Travelling in style)

First things first, you need to keep your skin hydrated! Airplanes are moisture sucking monsters my loves. Don’t you feel your skin and eyes super dry after a couple of hours travelling on a plane? Well, I do. That’s why I always bring with me a travel-size face mist. Spraying it on your face will give you comfort and moisture. Remember that face mists are not only toners: their active ingredients can make them an important step of our beauty routine. Ready, set, radiant skin mist by Tarte is packed with essential oils which soothe and refresh our skin (and make-up).

And what about your hair? You don’t want them to look wispy and dull after an air-conditioned flight. Essence Absolue Nourishing Oil by Shu Uemura doubles as hair and body oil. This golden elixir imparts your hair and body a satin-smooth touch and alluring radiance. Luscious I would say.

During your trip you might want to take special care of your delicate under-eye area. The eye contour immediately shows tiredness and stress. And, although you can hide behind the coolest sunglasses, you’d better treat it constantly. GENIUS Ultimate Anti-Aging Eye Cream by Algenist replenishes and nourishes through a combination of Alguronic Acid and Microalgae Oil.

I don’t need to tell you why you might want to include a hand sanitizer in your list of 5 airport beauty essentials. Of course you don’t need to choose one which smells like disinfectant. CLEAN Hand Sanitizer by Organic to Green is organic and comes in a relaxing lavender and lemon fragrance.

Last but not least, in your list of 5 airport beauty essentials a travel-size make-up palette is an absolute must-have! You might want a complete make-up palette to carry in your handbag, just in case your luggage with relevant make-up stash got lost (am I the only one terrified by this possibility?). CHANEL Travel Makeup Palette and mascara set features beauty essentials to enhance face, eyes and lips on the go. On the other hand, Clinique Compact Colour 6-piece Set includes all you need for a quick touch up.

As you know hun, I fly a lot, but not for vacation. That will have to wait until September, but boy do I look forward to it! As for my airport/airplane essentials I agree. Flying is one heck of a killer for both your skin and hair and I always have the five essentials you mentioned with me in my carry-on bag. Even the makeup palette, as you said, you never know if your bags are lost or not. It’s happened to me more than once to be honest and that feeling of not having anything at all when you arrive is horrendous. Thanks for the tips!
    xoxo

I need the Ready, Set and Radiant mist!! It sounds amazing after a long flight and your skin is so dull and dehydrated from the recirculated air on the plane.

I don’t use face mists as often as I should. My skin always gets dry on the plane and now I understand why. I’ll definitely start keeping a small container in my carry on from now on!

I never thought of a hair oil! That’s soooo genious since I know it’s a moisture sucking monster for skin. I never thought of it sucking moisture out of your hair. I definitely need that mist and hair oil. I won’t forget to pack that the next time I travel!

I love tips on how to downsize my carry-on, so I was thrilled with this list of essentials, especially since there are only 5! My favorite is the Essence Absolue Nourishing Oil because it will work for my body and my hair. Hello, elbows! I get the driest skin on airplanes, and my elbows could grate cheese! Keep the travel beauty tips coming!
