Come mantenersi bella dopo i Trenta: i miei consigli di stile e beauty. My beauty and style tips on how to look good in your Thirties.
Bella dopo i Trenta – i miei consigli fashion e beauty
Ciao amiche!
Come mantenersi bella dopo i Trenta – La mia esperienza
How to look good in your Thirties – my style and beauty tips
Hello lovelies! After dedicating my latest posts to the younger readers of this fashion blog, I thought your might enjoy some style and beauty tips on how to look good in your Thirties. In a couple of months I’ll turn 36, so I know what we’re talking about.
How to look good in your Thirties – it’s a matter of style
Let’s start from your outfit! If over the last few years you have changed your lifestyle, job, or you have moved, maybe it’s time to change your look as well. Have you already done it? Were you thinking about it? I think it’s important to take care of your look always and in any case, wearing garments which compliment your figure. The most easy dress, like the one I’m wearing today, can become a wardrobe staple if your outfit is embellished with nice accessories. Keeping an eye on fashion trends and your own sense of style will guide you. On the other hand, if you think you could use some help, you can always count on your best fashion blogger friend. For a private image consulting session do not hesitate to PM me.
How to look good in your Thirties – My personal experience
What becomes paramount in your Thirties is taking care constantly of your looks and health. Over the years metabolism slows down, as well as the production of those molecules that keep our tissues naturally healthy. You have most likely read and heard general directions about working out, eating healthy and drinking plenty of water. Therefore I would like to share with you a few changes I noticed in my body and how I dealt with them.
What changed in my body in my Thirties
First of all a slower metabolism and a tendency to gaining weight in different parts of my body, like stomach and upper arms. I’m working on it, with cardio fitness and changing my diet often. Dry brushing and slimming lotions have become part of my daily routine.
As far as face skin is concerned, the changes each of us experience in their Thirties are very different. For example my skin is elastic but prone to sagging, therefore I need to use firming serums. Who is prone to fine wrinkles will need to use botox-like serums. Over the past year I had to undergo hormonal treatments which caused hyperpigmentation and acne. These changes made me really uncomfortable, but I’m learning to control them and camouflage them with the help of makeup.
My hair has changed too, becoming thinner and flat. But luckily there are many products on market that are helping me: thickening shampoos and masks, volumizing mousses, styling creams. The right haircut is important too: for example I went for a short bob to make my hair lighter, and now I’m growing it with a graded haircut.
In conclusion
I don’t want to scare you by depicting a catastrophic situation, just to point out that we need to take better care of our looks in our Thirties. Taking care of ourselves will not make us perfect, but will definitely make us feel better while we learn to accept our flaws.
After all, over the years we are supposed to become wiser and learn to love ourselves, finally. My lovely friends, can you relate with what I just said? If you feel like sharing your personal experience, I will be honoured.

Hello sister! Your dresses are always so pretty. These shots are so beautiful and I feel as if i’m looking at a magazine shoot. And for a woman in her thirties, you can fool everyone sis, you look amazing!
Love, Dom
First of all, congratulations to hitting the best age of them all, that is 36! Like I said on your Instagram, I thought you were a lot younger than me, but it’s funny we’re both 36 and as you said, taking care of ones skin is essential to that. As for style I don’t think age is an issue. I wear whatever I feel comfortable in and so do you. With age comes confidence! 🙂
