Blue hair: how to pick the right shade
Of course your primary goal is to choose the shade of blue which most compliments your complexion, and your attitude.
For example, royal blue hair looks amazing on girls with pale skin and grey eyes.
On the other hand, blue black is a classic shade, more popular than ever. This glossy and dramatic color suits all skin colors.
If you’re a fan of granny hair, you’re going to love ashen blue! This pastel hue – like denim blue and lavender, is the perfect fit for girls with dark eyes and brows.
Bright turquoise hair provides a fresh and flirtatious look, but you might want to avoid it if you are over your 30s. I love how Kylie Jenner dons turquoise.
Indigo blue, with a hint of daring purple, is sexy and sophisticated. It compliments only healthy and glossy looking hair, like Katy Perry’s.

I wish I was more daring with my hair, I actually was when I was younger. I’ve been platinum blonde, grey, silver and all that, but now that I’m getting older I think I’d just look weird with say blue hair, although I love it on girls though 🙂

I love this post! I plan on coloring my hair again soon when I get back from my next trip. Still trying to plan which shade, but it will definitely be a fun one!
I’d love to be able to pull off blue hair or unicorn. Since I’m already in my late 30’s, I don’t think the blue hair would do well with the kids or the parents at their school lol.

I’d personally rock all of them if I could, though I know ashen blue wouldn’t work on me since I would look a mess with hair that light haha. I recently tried purple, teal or blue may be next for me!
