Designer love – Nostalgia – Louis Vuitton e Saint Laurent

Designer love – Nostalgia – Louis Vuitton e Saint Laurent

Designer love – Nostalgia… Hello my friends, I was mulling over young talented designers becoming creative directors of maisons with a glorious reputation. The responsibility of abiding by the brand stylistic imprint – while introducing innovation collection after collection – is huge. Confused by lame déjà-vu-s, I feel nostalgic and wonder why these brilliant artists wouldn’t rather put themselves out there and draw their own unique path. What’s your insight?

You know I was just thinking about a similar topic. In an interview with one emerging Croatian desiger, she was asked how she manages to do her job in such difficult conditions implying it would be easier for her to work abroad. Her response suprised me for she said that it is easier for her in Croatia because here you must start your own clothing line or give up. It&#39;s all or nothing

Caterina http://www.imieioutfit.blogspot.com

Classic tailoring and precision always has a place and is quite necessary but there has to be avant-garde! there has to be the creative explosion, fantasy and breath taking garments and vision, creativity demands it x x x

I believe it&#39;s about money. Especially start up money. Many designers don&#39;t have it at first. They have to work with a BIG brand, before &quot;Making It&quot;. Do I agree, that this should be the way…NO. LOL But that&#39;s the way it&#39;s been going.<br />http://www.averysweetblog.com/

I definitely think that taking their reigns of a monumental fashion house like Louis Vuitton or Chanel can be tricky. I think the originality of each fashion house ends with the passing or retirement of their creator. No matter how apt or capable the new creative director might be, it will never be the same. <br /><br /><a href="http://www.fashionistalooks.blogspot.com&quot; rel="nofollow">FASHIONISTA
