Coachella Festival: What is it?
Hello sweet peas, here comes the Coachella Festival weekend! Made in USA, it’s becoming more and more popular in Italy, but many of you have asked me: what is the Coachella Festival? It is a music festival that for two weekends a year, since 1999, has been animating the Californian desert, specifically the city of Indio, located in the vast Coachella Valley. Concerts play on simultaneously on seven different stages, ranging from electronic music to the hip hop, rock ‘n roll to indie rock. But music is not the only star of the folkloristic Coachella festival, which houses the most diverse artistic manifestations.

Coachella Festival has become a fashion catwalk for Sixties and Seventies inspired outfits: a modern Woodstock, featuring bell-bottom pants, frayed shorts, boho tops, fringes and lace. Coachella festival inspired several capsule collections, see Judari, Twenty Easy, Etam. H&M couldn’t miss this opportunity: in collaboration with the festival, they created the capsule collection “H&M loves Coachella”. “Coachella is one of the most anticipated musical events in the world and this collection will give fashion and music lovers the chance to become part of it,” said a spokesman of H&M. Coachella Festival 2015 is going on right this weekend, but the tickets have been sold out since January; either you are taking part to it or not, a Coachella inspired outfit might be a nice idea to sink in the relaxed mood that accompanies the festival. Oh my gosh! You’re going? So lucky! Have fun! 🙂 I would love to go someday, although I may be too old by then. And I was able to get tank top from the H&M/Coachella collection. Hopefully will get to wear it, but I feel like it’s never gonna warm up here…sigh….

Non sono mai andata a Coachella Festival, ma forse una volta? Ma e vero, Coachella non e piu solo musica, ed adesso musica e moda, la gente voglia essere vista in Coachella con kimonos, stivalle, fiiori sul capelli… 🙂
