Il maglione in cashmere che indosso è stato realizzato con il pregiato filato italiano Loro Piana. Loro Piana rappresenta l’eccellenza a livello nazionale e internazionale nella trasformazione del cashmere ricavato dalle capre Hircus allevate in Cina e in Mongolia. E’ proprio dal sottovello di questi animali che si ricava il cashmere. Una volta all’anno, in primavera, quando il clima si fa più mite, i pastori prelevano il sottovello dalle capre, mediante un delicato procedimento di pettinatura, totalmente innocuo per gli animali. Le finissime fibre che compongono questa lana vengono poi elaborate e selezionate per ottenere il pregiato filato di cashmere Loro Piana.
Ho voluto approfondire questo argomento per evidenziare che più pregiato è il cashmere, maggiore è la garanzia che venga ricavato da animali allevati eticamente. The softness of my cashmere sweater by Rakkì Wear
The cashmere sweater I’m wearing was made with the precious Italian yarn Loro Piana. Loro Piana is the excellence at national and international level in the transformation of the proceeds from Hircus cashmere goats bred in China and Mongolia. It’s from the undercoat of these animals that we get cashmere. Once a year, in spring, when the weather gets warmer, the shepherds collect the undercoat from the goats, through a delicate process of combing, totally harmless to animals. The fine fibers that make this wool are then processed and selected to get the fine cashmere yarn Loro Piana.
I wanted to explore this topic to highlight that the finest the cashmere, the greater the guarantee that it is derived from animals reared ethically. Glad that my soft cashmere sweater by Rakkì Wear is cruelty free, I can abandon myself to the luxury of its soft caress.
