Naturally beautiful – Argan Oil / Naturalmente bella – Olio d’Argan
EN – Hello my lovelies, “Naturally Beautiful” is a series of posts focusing on ancient botanical-based elixirs used by women all over the world before cosmetology was born. Having experienced myself averse reactions to chemical products, I’ve started a little research on the precious ingredients provided by Mother Nature: I’d love to share with you what I found out, along with a review of one or more brands delivering certified organic products. IT – Ciao miei tesori, “Naturalmente Bella” è una rubrica dedicata agli antichi elisir fitoterapici utilizzati dalle donne di tutto il mondo prima della nascita della cosmetologia. Avendo sperimentato in prima persona reazioni avverse ai prodotti chimici, ho iniziato una piccola ricerca sulle preziose materie prime presenti in natura: voglio condividere con voi quello che ho scoperto, e – ove possibile – recensire uno o più brand di prodotti organici certificati. Non esitate a condividere le vostre esperienze personali su quanto descritto: non siate timide, dite la vostra!
ARGAN OIL – OLIO D’ARGAN Tradition / Tradizione
EN – The indigenous Berber women of Morocco have used argan oil in their beauty rituals for centuries to protect their skin from the harsh desert conditions. This multipurpose oil from the nut of the argan tree contains powerful antioxidants and high concentrations of nutrients and essential fatty acids. IT – Per secoli le donne berbere indigene del Marocco hanno usato l’olio di argan nei loro rituali di bellezza, per proteggere la pelle dalle aspre condizioni climatiche del deserto. Questo olio multiuso -ricavato dalla noce dell’albero di argan – contiene potenti antiossidanti e alte concentrazioni di nutrienti e acidi grassi essenziali.
ARGAN OIL – OLIO D’ARGAN Composition / Composizione
EN – Raw argan oil is composed of a high percentage of vitamin E (more than twice as much as olive oil). The remainder of the oil is made up of 80% fatty acids, including hard to obtain Omega 6 and Omega 9 acids. These are key to promoting optimal skin health. Here’s the breakdown: palmitic – 12.0%; stearic – 6.0%; oleic – 42.8% (omega 9); linoleic – 36.8% (omega 6). Other components include phenolic oils, squalene and phytosterol compounds. IT – L’olio di argan grezzo è composto da un’alta percentuale di vitamina E (più del doppio rispetto all’olio d’oliva). Per il resto è costituito dall’80% di acidi grassi, tra cui i preziosi Omega 6 e Omega 9. Ecco la ripartizione: palmitico – 12,0%; stearico – 6,0%; oleico – 42,8% (omega 9); linoleico – 36,8% (omega 6). Altri componenti includono oli fenolici, squalene e composti di fitosteroli.
ARGAN OIL – OLIO D’ARGAN Benefits/ Benefici
EN – Extremely rich in Vitamin E and antioxidants, argan oil has been shown to: • Minimize fine lines • Restore elasticity • Improve skin tone • Soothe irritation • Neutralize free radicals that cause signs of aging • Protect the skin from harmful environmental agents. Light and non-greasy, argan oil absorbs easily, instantly giving skin a radiant glow. IT – Estremamente ricco di vitamina E e di antiossidanti, all’olio di argan sono state riconosciute proprietà benefiche quali: • Ridurre al minimo le rughe sottili • Ripristinare l’elasticità della pelle • Migliorare il tono della pelle • Lenire le irritazioni • Neutralizzare i radicali liberi che causano l’invecchiamento cutaneo • Proteggere la pelle dagli agenti ambientali nocivi. Leggero e non grasso, l’olio di argan si assorbe facilmente, donando istantaneamente alla pelle un colorito radioso.

Anche io uso l'olio di argan, ne ho un flacone che viene direttam dal marocco mentre un'altro l'ho comprato qui in Italia ma la differenza è tantissima…anche qui come in tanti prodotti dipende molto da chi produce questo olio! I have tried only one product with argan oil and it's an Italian hair product (hair cristals with argan oil). I've been using it for almost a year and I really like it, I keep buying new bottles.
