Pastels in Spring are not a major breakthrough right? When the weather gets warmer we crave for those soft yet vibrant hues coming straight for a candy jar. However every year there are some shades more popular than others. For example 2016 was the year or quartz rose and serenity blue. Well, Spring Pastels 2017 are yellow and pink.
Yellow dresses and accessories are all over the place. From primrose yellow, according to Pantone color palette of Spring Pastels 2017. To the warmer hues of sunflowers and pineapples, the hottest fashion prints in town. By the way, for Spring Summer 2017 kings of fashion Dolce and Gabbana chose a warm saffron shade over 2016’s lemon yellow. See the luscious gown sported by their brand ambassador Zendaya at Met Gala 2017.
There are two shades of pink in Pantone color palette of Spring Pastels 2017. The powdery Pale Dogwood and the bright Pink Yarrow. However, all shades of pink in between have been spotted on catwalks, to my utter joy and delight. Let me mention again Met Gala 2017, whose theme this year was “Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between“. Well, queen of red carpet Rihanna rocked a majestic look featuring all shades of pink.

After mentioning such big names, let’s see how Spring Pastels 2017 can be styled by each of us, starting from your fashion blogger friend. On a warm sunny day, I wore pink yarrow culotte pants and a white lace-up bodysuit. I added a statement piece, a new mini-bag made in Italy by Salce 197. My Elodie bag in primrose yellow is embellished with pink and orange stones. Don’t they look like delicious candies? You saw me wearing these off-white wedge sandals here. In Primavera indossare colori pastello non rappresenta una grande novità. Con l’inizio della bella stagione sentiamo il desiderio di indossare questi toni tenui ma gioiosi, che sembrano usciti da un negozio di caramelle. Tuttavia ogni anno ci sono colori più popolari di altri. Per esempio il 2016 è stato l’anno di quartz rose e serenity blue. Ebbene, i colori pastello della Primavera 2017 sono il giallo e il rosa.
Abiti e accessori gialli stanno spopolando. Dal giallo primula primrose yellow, presente nella palette di Pantone Spring Pastels 2017. Alle tonalità più calde dei girasoli e degli ananas, che dominano le stampe più hot di stagione. Per la Primavera 2017 la maison Dolce&Gabbana ha scelto un caldo color zafferano, in luogo del giallo limone che ha caratterizzato la collezionie PE2016. A proposito, avete visto il meraviglioso abito indossato ai Met Gala 2017 dalla loro testimonial Zendaya?
Ci sono invece due nuance di rosa nella palette di Pantone Spring Pastels 2017. Il cipriato Pale Dogwood e il vivido Pink Yarrow. Tuttavia, le collezioni moda PE2017 sono un trionfo di infinite tonalità di rosa. Torniamo ai Met Gala 2017, il cui tema quest’anno era “Rei Kawakubo, Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between“. Ebbene, Rihanna – decretata a furor di popolo la regina del red carpet, ha sfoggiato un magnifico abito in tutte le nuance del rosa.

Dimenticando per un attimo le star di Hollywood, vediamo come noi comuni mortali possiamo abbinare i colori pastello della moda PE2017. A partire dalla vostra amica fashion blogger. In una giornata di sole ho indossato un paio di culotte color pink yarrow (rosa achillea) con un body bianco con dettagli lace-up. Il pezzo forte di questo outfit è la mia nuova mini-bag giallo primula (primrose yellow) made in Italy by Salce 197. Questa Elodie bag giallo primula è decorata con pietre rosa e arancione che sembrano proprio caramelle. I sandali con zeppa me li avete visti indossare QUI.
