As Milano Moda runs at a fast pace, inside the walls of a magnificent palace renowned shoes manufacturer Ballin honors its Venetian origins with a capsule collection especially designed to match five of the Oscar award winning costumes from Fellini’s Casanova. The scenario is whimsical: in a dimly lit room five pairs of precious shoes face from a pedestal the original costumes designed by Danilo Donati in 1977, while voluptuous scenes from Fellini movie – portraying the Venetian adventurer and writer – are projected on the vaulted ceiling.
The ready to wear SS2014 collection isn’t a bit less charming…
