Lavender provides the most versatile of all essential oils, as well as my personal favorite 🙂
In aromatherapy, lavender is used to assist the body when adapting to stress or imbalances. It is a great aid for relaxing and winding down before bedtime, yet has balancing properties that can also boost stamina and energy.
Lavender oil is known for its skin healing properties, as moisturiser for dry or chapped skin, or to minimize the appearence of scar tissue. It is also renowned as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory.
I use it on a daily basis, mixed with organic shea butter, to hydrate my face skin and prevent breakouts.
I spray it on the pillows and pour a few drops in the water when I need a relaxing aromatic bath.
I have done a little bit of research to check which beauty products can boast it among their ingredients, while too many just sell the idea of it.

This was really informative! My husband and I have been looking for relaxing alternatives before bed time, sometimes it's really hard to turn off the phones, computers, tvs and just relax. I will keep this in mind when we go to the Herbal store this week! Thanks Bella!
