Good morning my princesses! After Summer Break, my beloved series on Emerging Designers is back. By the way, do you love this series as much as I do? Today we are getting to know Oboyi, accessory designer, who handles every piece of leather embracing the imperfections that make it unique. I’ve been following Oboyi for a while on her socials, drawn by her relentless researching and experimenting efforts. What charms me the most is her concept of each accessory as one-of-a-kind piece, not only by the hand of its manufacturer, but as a physical extension of its owner, who moulds it by means of his/her aesthetics and personality. What do you think my loves?

Buongiorno principesse! Dopo la pausa estiva ritorna la mia amata rubrica sui designer emergenti. A proposito la amate anche voi? Oggi parliamo di Oboyi, creatrice di accessori, che lavora ogni pezzo di pellame abbracciandone le imperfezioni che lo rendono unico. Da un po’ la seguo sui social e ne ammiro il lavoro di continua ricerca e sperimentazione. Ma soprattutto trovo affascinante la sua concezione degli accessori da lei creati come pezzi unici, non solo per mano di chi li realizza artigianalmente, ma in quanto estensione fisica di chi li indossa e li plasma quindi secondo il proprio gusto estetico e la propria personalità. Che ne pensate amori?
