Hello my glossy friends,
today’s fashionabulary focuses on a very hot print right now, that is chevron.
Chevron pattern consists of inverted “V” stripes, especially popular in the 1970s as Missoni’s signature print.
Lately it has made an enormous comeback – together with other geometric patterns – following fashion’s ongoing taste for imaginative contrasts and eclectic color blocking.
Chevron inverted V pattern stems from insignia occurring in heraldry, flags and military uniforms, dating back to a tribal symbolism which occurs as well in the form of the equally tranding aztec print.
