The mesh net fever is back! The sporty fabric introduced by Adidas was made popular by Madonna with Like a Virgin (1984). Along with many fashion trends from the Eighties and Nineties, the mesh net has come back in vogue for two years now. The most fashionable sportswear features transparent cut-outs. While fashion collections propose mesh net tees, skirts and dresses for a glam see-through effect.
How to style the mesh net – Fashion Blogger Outfit
When wearing mesh net the risk of looking tacky is right round the corner. So let’s see how to style it properly! First of all you must dose the see-through effect, wearing sheer fabrics over covering fabrics. Furthermore, you can use mesh net to get basically two types of look. With a black mesh dress like the one I’m wearing, you’re going to be a trendy rocker-girl by night. On the other hand, styling a colourful net skirt or tee with a basic staple, you will get a super glam athleisure look. E’ tornata la febbre della maglia a rete! Questo tessuto preso in prestito all’abbigliamento sportivo è stato reso popolare da Madonna, che indossò un top nero a rete nel video di Like a Virgin (1984). Insieme ad altre tendenze moda Anni Ottanta e Novanta, la maglia a rete è tornata in auge negli ultimi due anni. L’abbigliamento sportivo più trendy ha degli inserti in rete e in maglia trasparente. Mentre le collezioni moda inseriscono maglie, gonne e abiti dalla trama più o meno larga per ottenere un effetto vedo-non-vedo assolutamente glam.
Come indossare la maglia a rete – Fashion Blogger Style
Quando si indossa la maglia a rete, il rischio di cadere nel volgare è dietro l’angolo. Innanzitutto occorre dosare la trasparenza. Il nostro capo a trama larga andrà indossato sopra ad un tessuto adeguatamente coprente. Inoltre, con la maglia a rete possiamo realizzare due tipi di outfit. Se scegliamo un abito interamente mesh, come quello che indosso io oggi, l’effetto rocker girl è assicurato. Per questo look dark da sera il total black è un must. Se scegliamo una maglia o una gonna in rete e la abbiniamo ad un capo basic, otterremo un look athleisure, o sporty-chic. Per questo outfit da giorno è preferibile optare per toni chiari o accesi. Assolutamente out: i colori fluo, che lasciamo volentieri alla versione più trash dei mitici anni Ottanta. Buon weekend miei tesori!

I actually got one similar from Zara and I couldn’t be more obsessed with it! I wear it with black thing underneath and yup, that’s the rocker type I’m guessing! i still didn’t try to put it with a colorful top but I will definitely get out of my comfort zone and do it!
