Naturally beautiful – The tree of life / Naturalmente bella – L’albero della Vita – IT
Naturally beautiful – The tree of life / Naturalmente bella – L’albero della Vita – L’ESTRATTO DELLA FOGLIA DI ULIVO
Naturally beautiful – The tree of life / Naturalmente bella – L’albero della Vita – L’OLIO D’OLIVA
Naturally beautiful – The tree of life / Naturalmente bella – L’albero della Vita – EN
Hello loves, here we are back to our date with the series “Naturally beautiful”, focusing on ancient botanical-based elixirs used by women all over the world before cosmetology was born. Today we will talk of the Olive, “The Tree of Life“, symbol of longevity according to millenary traditions. The active component present in every part of the olive tree – the fruit, the leaves, the bark – are renowned for their healing properties.
Naturally beautiful – The tree of life / Naturalmente bella – L’albero della Vita – OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT
OLIVE LEAF EXTRACT is an antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral product from the leaves of the olive tree of the species “Olea europaea”. Extremely rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals, it is effective in the treatment of anomalies of the scalp and balance the pH level of the hair. The olive leaves, due to their content of polyphenols, are the most powerful antioxidants found in nature. Use: thanks to their powerful antioxidant activity, Olive leaf extract is the ideal functional ingredient in the formulation of cosmetics devised to protect the skin from free radicals produced by particular environmental exposures (pollutants, smoke, ultraviolet radiation, etc.) and primarily responsible for the aging process of tissues and organs.
Naturally beautiful – The tree of life / Naturalmente bella – L’albero della Vita – OLIVE OIL
The beautifying properties of OLIVE OIL have been renowned for centuries in all countries of the Mediterranean and in the Arab ones. The Phoenicians named it “liquid gold”, the Egyptians used it to soften the skin and make the hair shiny; in ancient Greece athletes used it for massages and frictions. Here are the beneficial substances that characterize it: vitamin E fights free radicals, largely responsible for the aging process; vitamin A prevents dryness of mucous membranes; squalene is able to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and reform the hydro-lipidic film (weakened by sunlight and detergents), renewing the skin; fatty acids such as linoleic and linolenic acids prevent skin disorders such as eczema, acne, psoriasis and dry skin; beta-carotene gives elasticity to the skin; triterpene alcohols and acidshave help scars healing. Use: its beneficial effects on the skin are a moisturizing, emollient, anti-inflammatory and photo-protective. It’s also very useful for the beauty and health of hair: it nourishes, softens and regenerates the hair fiber, protecting from pollution and weather conditions, and reduces loss as it can deeply nourish the hair bulb making it stronger. Now let me find for you the best products on market to deliver the beneficial properties of the tree of life! Do you already know some you would like to share?
