Buon venerdí amori, oggi la vostra amica fashion blogger vi mostra un preppy style outfit rivisitato in chiave un po’ lolitesca. Ad un semplice abito bianco dalla linea ad A, con colletto azzurro a pois e fiorellino decorativo in pendant, ho abbinato dei sandali alti con calzini a vista. Ho completato il mio preppy style outfit quasi total white con una borsa bianca a trapezio. Al polso un bracciale Luca Barra arricchito da tanti piccoli cristalli blu navy.
Come creare un preppy style look? Ispirato alle divise delle preparatory school americane e al look fresco e pulito dei giovani borghesi che le frequentavano, il preppy style si è evoluto come tendenza moda diventando lo stile trademark di brand come Lacoste, Burberry, Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines.
Il classico preppy style prevede tinte unite, soprattutto bianco e blu, e stampe che richiamano l’ambiente nautico (righe). Polo, camicie botton down, blazer, gonnelline a pieghe mini e midi, pull a V. Quanto alle calzature, si spazia dalla classica “tennis” alla Mary Jane, alla décolleté, tutte indossate con calze a vista, dal calzino alla parigina – come tra l’altro prevedono le ultime tendenze moda. Le parole d’ordine per creare un preppy style outfit sono semplicità e freschezza. Sì a linee pulite e tinte basic, no all’eccesso e ai colori sgargianti. Anche il makeup dev’essere soft. Fashion blogger e amanti della moda danno tanto spazio alla libera interpretazione, aggiungendo qualche dettaglio hot al classico preppy style look da brava ragazza.

Happy Friday loves, today I’m rocking a preppy style outfit, personalised by a lolitesque twist. I chose a simple A-line white dress, with light-blue polka dot round collar and decorative in pendant, and styled with high heel sandals with socks in plain sight. I complemented my almost total-white preppy style outfit with a white trapeze handbag. On my wrist a classy bracelet by Luca Barra embellished by many small navy blue crystals.How to create a preppy style look? Inspired by the uniforms of American preparatory schools and by the fresh, clean look donned by upper middle-class students, preppy style has evolved as a fashion trend, becoming the trademark style of brands like Lacoste, Burberry, Brooks Brothers, Vineyard Vines.The classic preppy style features solid colors, especially blue and white, and prints that recall nautical-wear (stripes). Polo tees, button-down shirts, blazers, mini and midi pleated skirts, V-neck pulls. As for footwear, it ranges from the classic “tennis” sneakers to Mary-Janes and décolleté, all worn with tights in plain sight, from ankle to knee-lenght or over-the-knee socks. The watchwords to create a preppy style look are simplicity and freshness. Yes to clean lines and basic colors, avoid excess and bright colors. Even the makeup should be soft. Fashion bloggers and fashion lovers give much room for interpretation, adding some hot detail to the classic good-girl preppy style look.
