What to wear for an art exhibition opening or another cultural venue. Understated elegance is the key. Outfit inspiration with styling board. Sometimes I find myself wondering what to wear for a specific occasion. Whenever I come up with what I consider the perfect outfit, of course I feel the need to share it with you loves. It happened to me last week, when I went to watch the premiére of Steve Jobs movie. Any lovers of Michael Fassbender out there? You can’t definitely miss it. Otherwise – spoiler alert – it’s a one nerd show.
Getting back to my outfit. I styled a preppy-style high-waist pleated midi skirt with a sheer black blouse with a bow. I pulled over my shoulders a midi-length straight-cut camel coat, in pendant with the skirt. To give the look some pizzaaz I went for sequinned t-bar ballerinas and luscious satin stockings from Wolford. I also rocked edgy cat-eye glasses by Dolce and Gabbana and hold an envelope purse in my hands, with a red foulard tied to it. Where are the pictures of my outfit? Ask my husband! And so I came up with this styling board on what to wear for an art exhibition opening. How do you like it bunnies?
