Style is eternal – A timeless fashion concept
Style is eternal is more than a famous quote by Yves Saint Laurent: it’s a way of living. Namely, it’s in your attitude, in your way of speaking, and of course it’s in what you are wearing.
Anamica Mahabiersingh, founder of Moda Aesthetics, lives by this concept. That’s why she founded a one-of-a-kind online destination.
In fact, we had a long talk via Skype and she made me fall for her innate sense of style.
Her primary reason for founding her own company was her struggle and endless browsing for clothes which didn’t provide the comfort and the uniqueness she was looking for.
She wanted to create a place for women and provide them a limited selection of exactly what they want to wear in terms of design, quality, materials, thus saving them time, effort and resources.
Style is eternal – The vision at Moda Aesthetics
Moda Aesthetics is a young startup, aiming to provide quality clothes at affordable prices to women with their own sense of style.
In fact, the limited collections available online at Moda Aesthetics are designed in collaboration with independent fashion designers.
“Our primary goal is indeed to provide unique fashion to women with their own sense of style. We ensure an element of timelessness is always present in our designs, as we do not support the fast fashion trend race. Our fashion is an art that is always trendy – it’s trendy now and it will be in 10 years as well. We choose to collaborate with emerging designers from various countries – they might be young and inexperienced, but they are full of ideas and inspiration. These designers represent the future of fashion, we wish to give them a chance to develop and to educate them in the primary use of high quality and sustainable materials.Moda Aesthetics takes a strong stand for several important issues, which we fight to counter in fashion:
Environmental damage – by educating ourselves and everyone else, by innovating and maintaining very low inventory;
The shunning of the young and inexperienced – by giving them a chance and encouraging them;
The ongoing damage of female self perceptions – by celebrating their true self “
Style is eternal – Mumu Organic via Moda Aesthetics
Talking of emerging fashion designers, the strapless white dress I’m wearing today is by Mumu Organic. She originates from Greece and applies her local techniques and inspirations in her designs. She works solely with certified organic materials and emphasizes on comfort to produce high quality and comfortable clothes in very limited quantities.
By the way, it was love at first sight for this candid strapless dress: its classic silhouette and minimal embellishments make it a timeless staple. I can vouch for the authentic quality of the fabric: organic cotton which feels good on your skin and fits like a glove.

Style is eternal – Summer School Project
Now I’d like to share a fashion project launched by Moda Aesthetics. “Summer School” is an international fashion design contest for young fashion talents across the globe. The challenge is to create the one perfect dress that according to them would make a modern woman feel the most comfortable, radiant, and confident as a citizen in the 21st century.
The winning design will be produced and sold on modaaesthetics.com.
This is a great opportunity for new talents to gain exposure to the industry and receive expert feedback.
