Hello bunnies, while my posting schedule is more relaxed during these holidays, I have more time to indulge in fashion reads and get inspired. So I came across the outstanding creations by emerging designer Flora Leung, finalist at the latest edition of Who is on next held in Dubai. And here we are getting to know her and her brand Matter Matters, luxury and lifestyle brand based in Hong Kong.
Behind the visual appeal of playful accessories, sassy shapes in bold colors, lays all the experience Flora gained throughout her studies and her working experience. After being named graphic design student of the year at Birmingham City University, Flora attended London College of Fashion and got her second degree for Cordwainers Accessory Design. She also worked for six years as buyer and visual director for a high-end vintage store, dealing on a daily basis with the finest materials and luxury details.
Matter Matters creates high quality fashion accessories inspired by Postmodernism and Art Deco. Playful and witty, MATTER MATTERS fashion accessories take us aback with unexpected combinations of classic-retro vibes, high-end materials, vibrant colours, and functional details.
