Ciao dolcetti, oggi vi presento un outfit casual molto semplice, composto da maxi felpa e leggings. Benchè la fashionista che è in me prediliga look più femminili e bon-ton, da quando sono diventata mamma ho dovuto arricchire il mio guardaroba di capi easy e confortevoli. Soprattutto perchè l’eleganza si dimostra vestendosi in modo appropriato all’occasione, e affondare i tacchi nel prato del parco giochi non è per niente chic! Il mio look invernale casual per eccellenza prevede maxi felpa e leggings, corredati da un paio di sneakers o da anfibi militari. Questa maxi felpa in particolare è uno dei miei capi preferiti , per i colori vivaci e la stoffa morbida, decorata da foglie d’acero in velluto. I leggings in similpelle con stampa animalier tono su tono sono una piacevole sorpresa di Bugie by Coccoli, brand made in Italy che presenta sfiziose collezioni di calzettini, pants, leggings e altri accessori. Per richiamare il royal blue della felpa ho rispolverato le mie sneakers con zeppa ispirate all’iconico modello di Isabel Marant. Non sono più cosí trendy a dire il vero, ma io le adoro, e quindi le sfoggio con orgoglio 🙂 Qual è il vostro look invernale casual preferito? A presto angioletti belli!

Hello buttercups, today I’m wearing a very simple casual outfit, consisting of a maxi sweatshirt dress and leggings. Though the fashionista in me prefers more feminine and bon-ton looks, since I became a mother I had to enrich my wardrobe with easy and comfortable garments. Especially because elegance proves by dressing appropriately for the occasion, and sinking your heels in the playground lawn is not at all chic! My easy winter look par excellence features maxi sweatshirt and leggings, complemented by a pair of sneakers or military boots. This maxi sweatshirt in particular is one of my favorite pieces, for its bright colors and soft fabric, decorated with velvety maple leaves. The leatherette leggings with ton sur tone animalier printare a pleasant surprise from Bugie by Coccoli, made in Italy brand manufacturing cute and flirtatious socks, pants, leggings and other accessories. In order to match the royal blue of the sweatshirt I dusted off my sneakers with wedge inspired by Isabel Marant’s iconic model. They are not a hot thing right now – to be honest, but I love them, and I rock them proudly 🙂 What is your favorite easy winter look? See you soon beautiful angels!

Yes, I quit my job before I went to Spain. And before that, I took a long leave of absence to take care of my mother before she died. I just went back to work after that to cover a co-worker’s maternity leave.
So, I am currently unemployed, and just a little burned out. So I am taking some time to reinvent my life. I will probably find some sort of gainful employment in the process, and – of course – there will be a new blog, which I will tell you about when it debuts.
My favorite easy winter look? In Chicago, it’s all about survival. Since everybody wears long black down coats and heavy snow boots, it’s all about hats and scarves and tote bags (to carry your shoes in). Not very glamorous!
And you are not dumb. You are beautiful and brilliant and I love you.
