Well, if there’s something I witness at this fashion venue season after season is the difference between faking it and making it. Now let me explain.
A closer look at Milano street style fashion
Among the attendees at the more or less fancy fashion events there are 3 types of fashionistas.
First of all the top international fashion editors and influencers who don impeccable designer outfits and IT accessories, mostly slaying their way to fashion magazines and broadcasts.
Then there are the show-offs, who would wear literally anything to seek the attention of a Milano street style photographer’s. Occasionally you will catch a glimpse of these clown-esque figures on the TV news, but they won’t make their cheap way to fashion mags.
And then there are true fashion lovers, who dress up for the occasion without overdoing it. Some of them will keep a low profile, nonetheless donning naturally stylish and trendy attires. Others might be on the edgier side, but an expert eye will notice their unique style and personal take on trends.
Well, the latter are the real trend setters I look up to for inspiration and I admire for their natural charme.

That said, I thought you might enjoy recreating a look from Milano street style you can easily wear in your free time. In fact, what I wanted to say with my intro is that Milano street style isn’t synonymous with extravaganza. You can keep it trendy yet classy, like I did rocking this color block urban outfit.
So it will be very easy for you to recreate it, taking it down to 3 bold monochromes of your choice. For me they were black, red and royal blue.
So I pulled a cropped blue sweater over black tracksuit pants. Then I upgraded sporty to chic with red kitten heels and a small crossbody satchel. And finally I added two trending accessories. That is a beret, one of the most popular headpieces in 2019. And shield sunglasses embellished with crystals, another IT accessory this year. Uno sguardo attento allo street style Milanese
Tra i partecipanti alle sfilate e agli eventi più o meno importanti di questa manifestazione ci sono tre figure caratteristiche.
Innanzitutto i fashion editor e i top influencer internazionali, che sfoggiano impeccabili outfit griffati, comparendo di diritto su riviste di moda e nei notiziari .
Poi ci sono i personaggi in cerca di flash, che indosserebbero letteralmente qualsiasi cosa pur di catturare l’attenzione dei fotografi di street style. Vi capiterà di intravedere i look pittoreschi di queste macchiette nei notiziari. Ma fateci caso: non li troverete mai tra gli outfit street-style da copiare secondo gli esperti del settore.
E poi ci sono i veri appassionati di moda, che si vestono per l’occasione senza strafare. Alcuni di loro mantengono un profilo basso, risultando tuttavia incredibilmente glamour. Altri scelgono dei look più estrosi e talvolta vistosi. Ma ad uno sguardo attento i loro outfit vi colpiranno per la naturalezza con la quale le tendenze moda vengono rielaborate e personalizzate.

Dopo questa digressione ho pensato di proporvi un look di street-style milanese che potete ricreare e indossare nel tempo libero.
Infatti la mia lunga introduzione stava a significare che lo street style non è necessariamente sinonimo di stravaganza.
Ora ve lo mostro con un outfit urban chic a blocchi di colore. Per ricrearlo vi basterà scegliere capi ed accessori monocromatici alternando 3 colori. Nel mio look di oggi ho alternato nero, rosso e blu cobalto.
A partire da un paio di pantaloni sportivi neri, che ho reso più glam abbinandoli a stivaletti rossi e ad una mini-bag a tracolla. Poi ho scelto un pull corto blu cobalto, sempre in stile athleisure.
Infine ho aggiunto due accessori di tendenza. Ovvero un basco – o beret, uno dei copricapi più trendy del 2019. E occhiali da sole a mascherina, altro must-have di stagione. Cosa ne pensate di questo look di street-style semplice e glam? Non vedo l’ora di ricevere i vostri messaggi amori!
