OOTD – Placid blue and pink toes / Outfit del giorno
Good morning flowers, today I’ll show you an outfit in that shade of blue that Pantone dubbed as “placid blue“. If you read my posts on the season trends which will still be hot next year (Part 1 and Part 2), you may already know that this ensemble, featuring a cropped top and a high wasted pleated skirt, is not going to end up in my wardrobe unregarded. To be honest I expected this two-piece would be a perfect match, while now – looking at the pictures – I can foresee different styling proposals to make the best of both the top and the skirt… so stay tuned! On the other hand I’m perfectly happy with the colourful bijoux that discontinue the monochromy of the look, but especially with my new pink suede peep-toe. All in all, what to you think of this mix my loves?

Buongiorno fiorellini, oggi vi mostro un outfit in quella tonalità di azzurro che l’autorevole Pantone ha definito “placid blue“. Se avete letto i miei post sui trend di stagione che ci verranno riproposti anche l’anno prossimo (Parte 1 e Parte 2), già sapete che questo completo, composto da un top corto e da una gonna plissettata a vita alta, non è destinato a finire dimenticato in fondo all’armadio. Devo dire la verità, mi aspettavo che questo “due pezzi” sarebbe stato una combinazione perfetta, mentre ora – riguardando le foto – mi vengono in mente altri abbinamenti per valorizzare maggiormente sia la blusa che la gonna, che quindi rivedrete prossimamente. Sono invece entusiasta dei bijoux colorati che spezzano la monocromia del look, ma soprattutto delle mie nuove scarpette in vernice rosa. E voi… che ne pensate di questo mix?
