Hello cherry blossoms,
after a few days spent in Milan, breathing fashion and glamour, I’m back home. I can’t wait to share with you what made my eyes sparkle and my spirit rise in ecstasy.
Krizia Fall 2014 collection conveys an idea of elegance based on essential lines and impeccable design, minimalist without being sharp, like a “second skin”.
Clearly defined colours, all-blacks and all-whites, get along with rust, teal, asphalt grey and dull gold.
The panther – fierce iconic symbol of the maison – makes its appearence on the sly, its black shape hidden among the folds of a rust coloured leather top, its glossy coat mimicked by the glare of thick embroideries.
The plissé motif recurs both in the form of actual pleats – especially on leather – and in knitwear, recalled by horizontal panels.
Once again Krizia’s love for contradiction enters the scene with the winning juxtaposition of androgynous silhouettes and hyper-feminine garments, fluid shapes and pointy-toes, sexy stilettos, designed to dress a fierce modern woman who slides like a panther through the solid blocks of the metropolis.
You can see proper pictures of the whole collection here, while below I’m showing some of the snapshot I took during the show. They are not professional, but hope you enjoy 🙂
Tons of love my angels!
