Winter haircare: how to take care of your hair in Winter and slay all year
Although we are aware that in Summer we need to take special care of our hair, we should consider that Winter haircare is as much important. In fact, in Winter we must protect our hair from cold temperatures, pollution, dry-brushing.
My Winter Haircare routine step by step
First of all it’s important to exfoliate your scalp to improve circulation and oxygenation. In particular I use Morphosis Scalp Exfoliate by Framesi. That is a cream with tiny jojoba pearls which remove dead cells and impurities.
As far as shampoo is concerned, I suggest you should choose the product most suitable for your hair type. For example I’m using three different products on a rotation basis. Morphosis REPAIR SHAMPOO by Framesi is deeply conditioning and restoring, thanks to Sunflower Oil and Almond proteins. When I want my hair straight and silky I use Creattiva Oil Secrets Liss Shampoo. With organic grapeseed oil and blueberry water, it gets you super sleek and glossy hair. When I need an extra deep cleansing I use Go Detox Shampoo by Jean Louis David, whse main active ingredient is activated vegetable charcoal.
As a part of my Winter haircare I also pack my hair-lengths with nourishing balms and leave them on for a few hours before cleansing. I am a huge fan of MuLondon moisturising balms. Made with shea butter, coconut butter and jojoba oil, they are 100% vegan and organic.
Deep nourishment is the key of your Winter Haircare
In Winter I also replace conditioner with a nourishing mask. Again I recommend you should choose the most suitabe mask for your hair type. What works for me is Morphosis SUBLÌMIS OIL DEEP TREATMENT by Framesi. It’s a rich cream packed with Argan oil and organic fruit extracts, deeply conditioning, extra pampering.
Now I’m curious to know your favourite products and tips for Winter Haircare. Comment on my loves!
