What is an empowering outfit? You may ask. Well, you know that outfit that makes you stride on the sidewalk to the rhythm of a motivational song like it was your own catwalk? If you don’t have that empowering outfit in your wardrobe yet, let’s create one which will work for you. 

First of all it must be an upgrade to your everyday style. Though not so edgy as to make you feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, you must wear it like an armour. Consider it an extension of your inner strength and determination. 

How I styled my empowering outfit

To be honest, there are many outfits that make me feel empowered in different ways. But I chose this one to catch your attention, just like you will turn heads when you rock your own empowering outfit. Not because you will be wearing something red or something sexy, but because you will sparkle powerful vibes from within.

Now let’s get back to my empowering outfit. According to chromotherapy, red stimulates a healthy portion of assertiveness and determination. While my man-cut oversize blazer is a corporate fashion element bringing out my inner boss lady. Of course I’m wearing heels. Because I feel so much badass when I’m walking on heels. Be them pumps or boots, they don’t need to be uncomfortable! And what about the beret? Would you dare not to take orders from me? Plus it’s super cute and trendy.

Now create your own empowering outfit! First of all choose a bold color that resonates with you and add it to your look. Then show (it can be a glimpse) a part of your body you particularly feel proud of. Add a statement accessory and go out to rule the world!

È difficile trovare in italiano un sinonimo del termine inglese empowering. Un empowering outfit è letteralmente un look che ti dà consapevolezza del tuo potere. Hai presente quel look che ti dà la carica, che ti fa camminare a ritmo di musica come se la strada fosse la tua passerella? Se non hai ancora un empowering outfit nel tuo guardaroba è il momento di crearne uno su misura per te! 

Prima di tutto deve essere un tono sopra il tuo stile quotidiano, grintoso quanto basta  per farti sentire a tuo agio. Immagina un look che tu possa indossare come un’armatura, un’estensione della tua forza interiore e determinazione.

Come ho creato il mio empowering outfit

Ad essere sincera, ci sono molti look che mi danno la carica in un modo o nell’altro. Ma ho scelto questo per catturare la tua attenzione, proprio come farai tu quando avrai creato il tuo! Non perché indosserai qualcosa di rosso o qualcosa di sexy, ma perché sarai consapevolmente autorevole  e determinata, e tutti riusciranno a percepirlo. 

Ora torniamo al mio empowering outfit. Secondo la cromoterapia, il rosso stimola una sana dose di assertività e autorevolezza. Mentre il mio blazer oversize dal taglio maschile è un elemento della moda da ufficio che mi fa sentire una boss lady.

Quanto ai tacchi… Beh, la mia autostima sale quando guardo il mondo dall’alto! Possono essere décolleté o stivali, non devono essere necessariamente scarpe scomode! Che ne dici invece del basco? Avresti il coraggio di non prendere ordini da me 😉 ? Inoltre è super carino e alla moda.

Ora crea il tuo empowering outfit ! Prima di tutto scegli un colore audace che ti dia la carica e aggiungilo al tuo look.
