Digging the sci-fi fashion trend with a futuristic outfit for Iceberg Fashion Show. During Milan Fashion Week I was invited to attend Iceberg Fall 2019 fashion show. What comes to my mind when I think of Iceberg is the trademark concept of this fashion brand. That is fashionable sportswear. Now that sci-fi and after-ski styles have grown in popularity, I can’t think of a brand which is hitting the target better than Iceberg.

As a matter of fact Iceberg collection for Fall 2019 by James Long was a mix of sports and punk, to quote the designer himself. The predominant colors were cobalt blue and white. Plus Long played with textures and prints to display a recurring pattern made of deconstructed checks.

How I styled my sci-fi outfit for Iceberg fashion show

When I am invited to a fashion show I love rocking an outfit resonating with the mood of the brand, if not from the brand itself.

That’s why I decided to rock a sci-fi outfit in hues of silver and white. So I layered a white maxi dress over jeans and chunky sneakers. Then I added a silver puffer jacket (remember it was Winter) and a sparkly headpiece. My shield sunglasses perfectly fit into the fashionable sportswear mood of my sci-fi outfit. While my Prada handbag was a classic and classy addition I couldn’t give up in favor of a fannypack.

I enjoyed very much the show and its futuristic vibes. Including bold eye makeup and a sky-high curl Suzy Menkes’ style.

Il mio sci-fi outfit per la sfilata di Iceberg a Milano Moda Donna (Influencer Style)

Durante la settimana della moda di Milano sono stata invitata alla sfilata di presentazione della collezione AI2019 di Iceberg. Nel mio immaginario fashion Iceberg è sinonimo di abbigliamento sportivo ad elevato contenuto glam. Ed ora che lo stile sci-fi diventa sempre più popolare, non mi viene in mente un brand più “sul pezzo” di quanto lo sia Iceberg.

La collezione Autunno Inverno 2019 firmata da James Long è un mix di “sports and punk“, per usare le parole del direttore creativo del brand. Mentre i colori predominanti sono il blu cobalto e il bianco, una fantasia geometrica a quadri destrutturati ricorre su tessuti stampati e in trame jacquard.

Come ho creato il mio outfit sci-fi per la sfilata di Iceberg

Quando vengo invitata ad una sfilata mi piace indossare un look in linea con lo stile del brand, se non un outfit del brand.

Ecco perchè ho optato per un outfit sci-fi nei toni dell’argento e del bianco. Così ho indossato un morbido maxi dress bianco sopra a jeans sfrangiati e alle famigerate ugly sneakers che vanno tanto di moda. Ho aggiunto un bomber argento (vi ricordo che era ancora Inverno ndr) e una fascia per capelli luccicante. I miei occhiali da sole a mascherina di Jimmy Choo si adattavano perfettamente al mood sci-fi del mio look. Mentre non ho voluto rinunciare ad una classic IT bag di Prada in favore di un marsupio.

Mi è piaciuta molto la sfilata, una presentazione futuristica in ogni dettaglio! Incluse le pennellate di ombretto colorato e le acconciature alla Suzy Menkes.
